Oscar Pics

Hi Guys

Just posting a few pics to show how my Oscars are doing. Got them a year now and they have grown from +-7cm to +-25cm so far.

Any comments are welcome.

Tank Specs: Standard 4ft +-250L
Filtration: Internal filter 750L/hr & 2ft sump (one huge centre compartment with ceramic rings) sump pump 1000L/hr.

I know this size tank is not ideal and will upgrade as soon as I can. Also want to swop the sump pump with one rated at 2000L/hr.

Beautiful Oscars, what do you feed them on?

 

Tetra Extra Large cichlid sticks in the morining and in the evenings either a whole lot of bloodworm or cocktail shrimp. I have tried other food, but Oscars can be a tad bit stubborn.

They have been behaving funny lately, attacking my gravel vacumn when im doing a water change and moving the gravel around a lot. They always side by side, im hoping they are a pair but only time will tell.
