    Good morning Tasa.

I'm probably going to get bombarded with critic but I have a problem and need to solve it quite quickly or I'm going to loose one or maybe two fish.

I have a 6ft tank and yesterday I got an albina tiger Oscar from a friend about 23cm. I introduced him into my tank with my Jaguar, Midas, convicts and Frontosa. It took about 3 minutes for all hell to break loose in my tank. The Oscar and Jaguar (25cm) went at each other. I saw some damage on both fish this morning. The gashes looked quite bad, but it seems as if they are not done.

What can I do to stop the fighting? I'm quite desperate.

Any help would be appreciated please.

    Thank you for your time.

    Have a nice day.

Re-arrange the tanks hardscape. The original fish is protecting his environment. If it is changed, you might change the dynamics.

My only other suggestion is to take the oscar back.

Thank you very much for the advice. I will definitely try that.

I can't give the Oscar back as my friend got new fish in his tank and they are still small and will be appetizers for the Oscar.

It actually suits me well because I have to do a water change today.

    Thank you very, very much.

Rearranging the aquarium is a good idea and I hope it works. If the trouble persists then try dividing the tank to keep them seperated for a while before reintroduction. If all else fails but another tank for the Jag, get it a mate and try to spawn - lol! Seriously, I have always wanted to spawn Jags but don't have the space at the moment.
