I successfully kept and bred Orange Chromides in my community tank with guppies. They were breeding so much that I had to give them away. It was not a brakish setup although I did add a little salt to the water to make sure that they were okay. They were very healthy and there colour was vibrant. I'll PM you as to where you can get hold of them.

I currently have 5 of them and they're doing well.... I expect them to start pairing off soon (They're in with 8 Kribs and there is no conflict).... (I've removed the spanner barbs seen in the photo)

Only realise now the poor quality of the photos, but if you look closely.... They are in there.

My tap water is around pH 7.1/ 7.3 ...... I know they enjoy frequent water changes... (I never add anything to the water)

I had them in my community tank with guppies, neons, runnynoses and corys. I threw in a handful of aquarium salt after every third water change. I know that the species do not belong together but the Orange Chromides were breeding and of excellent health and colour and all the other fish were also thriving. I know I was pushing the boundries with mixing them like this. The corys also laid eggs and the guppies had fry. It is a 1.2 m tank with a PH of around 7.5. I did start off with 6 Orange Chromides and then returned 4 of them when I had a mating pair.
