    Neilh, you will be surprised as to how fast a rope fish can move when it feels like it. Especially if it is hungry.....

    I shuddered when I saw that pic!! That rope fish looks too much like a snake to me! I have never seen a rope fish before and I thaught a snake had made it's way into your tank! Oh did I mention I'm kak scared of snakes! Cool pic, pity about the other fish, a vicious cycle the food chain is!

    Dam a clown loach got serious soft spot for them would love a tank with just clowns in ... super plant in bothasig had nice big ones ,,, seen some monsters on the net.

    lol Peekay I'm also quite afraid of snakes...would never be able to put my hand in the tank if a rope fish is present.

    I hate snakes but I love my rope fish...lol I think there is something wrong with me....lol

    Eish no! I'm petrified of snakes or anything that looks remotely similar. I did a search on Google Images for rope fish, those things can grow long! And if it weren't for the little flippers close to it's head and it's tail it would look exactly like a snake! My bull terrior loves snakes, a couple of times we have come home and found garden snakes in bite size pieces lying around the garden, and the funny thing is, if you pick up one of the pieces it is the exact length of the width of his jaw! Crazy bugger!

    Yip Zafgak, the rope fish sure does look happy!
