One fish not eating

    Hi all,

    I have a problem with my one fish. I had 3 Glofish Danios in a cycling tank.

    The cycle is now complete and I added 4 more to the tank, one died an hour later, but 2 of the survivors are fine, but number 3 is not eating any of the flakes.

    The other 5 fish goes crazy at feeding time, but my problem child heads for the bottom.

    I'm going to try freeze dried brine shrimp tonight and changing my brand of flakes from tommorow.

    Any idees as to what it could be? Should I get a quarantine tank up and running?

    Are you sure the tank is fully cycled?
    Have you tested for Ammonia, Nitrites & Nitrates?

    Take a sample of your water to Dorry Pets and ask them to check the parameters for you.

    I have a full SERA test kit, so I'm testing every day, there was a little NH3/4 bumb with the new fish, no NO2 spike...and NO3 is normal.


    nH3/4 = 0
    NO2 = 0
    NO3 = +/- 10ppm
