@Shabir Looks good. if you can, add a few more rocks. Nice piles with plenty of gaps / caves. Malawi cichlids, especially Mbuna need that sort of thing. Especially if one or two are facing aggression, which is normal for this sort of set up, it will give them somewhere to escape
Thank you so much. Ended up finding some vallis so that's going in there tomorrow. It's en route to me hehe . Officially addicted @MariaS
Finally got my hands on my favourite fish P.Demasoni. Ps: I may sleep on the couch for the next few weeks haha
Only 5. That's all I could get from the guys. Costed me way more thank ever paid for fish lol. Ordered 10 initially but they had no stock.
Looks beautiful, I kept 10x Demasoni with 10x Electric Yellow labs just before I started with my Jaguar Cichlid and Convicts. Wish I never broke that set up apart.
That’s prob the best way to keep dems. In a very big group. With another group of Mbuna that can hold their own, but not overly aggressive. And the colour contrast of blue and yellow looks good too
So in my list of fish I had unknown 3 species with drab colours and took them to be female peacocks. Turns out they're electric blue haps. 1 male 2 female I'll attach a picture taken a week ago Vs now. Amazing how fast my male coloured up 1 week ago Now Still not too excited that I've now got haps in my tank. But this guy is quite a stunner. Pictures do no justice
@T. Guppy I figured out how he coloured up so rapidly. One of his females are ready to mate and he's been digging a pit to impress her. They were at it but there's too much disturbance from other fish. Mainly my Demasoni who's also trying to spawn with 2 females lol.
