Odyssea 60cm on two foot tank

Does anyone know if the 60cm fits on a normal two foot tank with the brackets the unit self is 590 long does it sits on the brackets?

 

A quick Google search says yes, the side wires that sit on the tank are adjustable

 

It doesnt its to long only way it fits is straight on the glasslile this the bracket self hangs way over

 

Brackets is hanging over am i doing something wrong?

Its the same as pic no 1 just from top i will let it rest like that and just lover the water level np way thoae brackets fit on a normal 60cm tank

Is the bracket not meant to for that way and act as a handle?

I think it's meant to rest on the next "step down" that's how the one on my LFS planted tank works

 

Or you can bend it to raise the light and rest it on the lower ends
