Odessa Barb Tank numbers

Hi all, I'm new here. It's been some years since I last kept fish (back then we didn't have these kinds of forums ).

I've just set up a new 90cm (30gal/ 110l) Odessa barb only planted aquarium, no heater.
I've stock it with 10 large juveniles but I'm keen to increase the number to 15.

Would 15 Odessa's be over stocking the tank once they're adults or should it be fine?
There's plenty rocks with caves, plenty plants (Val & Dwarf Hair grass) and swim space, however they still need to fill in which will take some time, especially the Val, and I'll probably need to add another sponge filter, or what do you think?

 

Well growing to a maximum of 8cm per fish as suggested on google

I would not keep more than 10 in a 3ft tank

It's an Odessa barb only tank. The reason for considering increasing numbers beyond 10 is only to maximise the school, not to minimise aggression or anything else

 

Its not about the school but limited swimming space and if aggression picks up so that there can be enough space for them to get away

i struggled my face off to get hold of some odessas in CPT. Eventually ordered from a place in PE. Still young, have about 11 in the pond.

 

Yep , I think I've seen them once. Ive seen snake skins before but only like 4 at R60-70 per fish
