    Remember azure talking about using bunny droppings as nutrition for root feeding plants.
    Well I was intrigued and searched the net for the nutritional value of their manure, and found this site with compilation of nutritional value of rabbit manure.
    http://plenty.150m.com/My_Links_Pages/rabbit_manure01.html

    Seems as though the consensus for the macro nutrients areN 2.4 P 1.4 K 0.6.
    Although the value will of course differ for individual diets and age.

    I am one of 10 moderators on an international Tropical Fish forum with more than 83,000 members and almost 3.5 million posts and when the subject of aquatic plant nutrition comes up..... the first advice from all over the world is..... get some bunny pellets from your lfs..... I have not tried it (personally).... but there is a world wide confidence in the results..... When I set up my new fish room in October...... I will give it a trial and give you a report back on the effectiveness....

    Nice link ... so a quick bleed if you need a nitrogen boost for your tanks seems like the way to go ... do I bleed for SANBS or TASA every 56 days, choices choices choices

    Hahaha lol mhmm... ,I think that's taking the term dedicated aquarist a bit too far.

    Could make a good plot for another vampire movie though,
    The Mystery of Count Aquascapula :laugh:

    @tracyp and @Cheetah

    I'll definitely stay tuned for your updates on this one!

    I presume the bunny pellets they get at the lfs is before it becomes the poop?

    NOOO! bunny poo! (the end result). All I can add is that I did use it (I dried them out well first) - with no ill effects whatsoever, although I've not repeated the dosage cos the bunnies ran out!!!

    wow, facinating, keep us updated. although I must say your wife will think youre insane when you go to the touch farm and collect bunny poop lol. it's amazing how things like bunny poop and scrubby pads are so simple yett many claim that they are better than the stuff we pay a fortune for at the LFS. gota love this hobby :D

    Hahahahah :) good plan

    I'm actually very interested to see the results of someone's experiment with this? especially a tank with fish and plants.
    I'd imagine some religious testing of the parameters to ensure fish health.
