You can also try McMerwe online, shipping is a bit costly but their livestock and plants are always of great quality and I've yet to have a DOD.
There's that pet shop in Stoneridge that isn't too bad, I haven't bought fish from there in ages so can't vouch for that but they have a decent selection of equipment. And have a look at rebel pets in kempton park. They also have an online site

 

Aqua Empire is my go to
Watch their YouTube channel for unboxings and be quick off the mark (or phone them to hold for you). Friendly, knowledgeable, good stock and sometimes they might have some species rarely seen in SA.

I usually go to the place in Boksburg—staff there have always been super helpful and know their stuff. Prices are fair, and their tanks and fish look healthy every time.

 

I get my fishfood from Wazeers.i bought my angels from a little shop in the china mall on Atlas rd 4M fish and aquariums.the price iv seen of fish at Wazeers is not what i remember paying back in the day.they did have the most beautiful but aggressive black angel at their branch at boksburg fleamarket somebody must have got rid of it it was all alone in its tank.
