No more chemicult?

Went to the builders found only one tub of hydroponic - old and open, asked the sales dude he said that they now have a new range ... Looked and compared the old tub with 3:1:6 (46) with trace - labeled "plant food" seem almost the same as hydroponic blue tub stuff. Then had a look at the rest of the range found Orchid mixture 2 or 6:20:30 since it is low in Nitrogen it might be a better match for PFP tanks?

Break down of Orchid mixture 2

N 70g/kg
P 93g/kg
K 248g/kg
Fe 1500 mg/kg (300mg lower than the 3:1:6 stuff)
Mn 240mg/kg
B 240mg/kg
Cu 20mg/kg
Zn 50mg/kg
Mo 10mg/kg
- no Mg (3:1:6 has 29g/kg)

Neither has any S - think the Hydroponic stuff did.

Hmmm... would be interesting to here the Prof's take on this. I forsee F-Fish redoing his tank!

Hmm deed is done - used 1.5 blocks of PFP on two small tanks +- 1.5 spoons of 6:20:30 so I think the math says 500g - 10g = 490g i.e. another 49 mixes to go then we can try the blue tub ;-) - will need to bulk order the PFP and get the fishroom extended.
