Hi have see this fish and it was almost over night that the fishes fins started to change colour and "rot away" the only thing available at the moment was the Tetra General tonic which says it treats fin rot so that is what was used.

80% of diseases in a tank come from poor water quality, not saying that fonkie is not looking after his fish and not cleaning the tank right or anything... what I am saying it might of happened with a water change directly from the tap and so on.
Hi Jesse The poor thing was missing for a day and i saw it in the morning like this (this tank is at my office). As Gareth stated i always have some tetra products on hand. I know a lot of people doesn't like tetra but here in Potch it seems to work
well, sounds like thats some good medication if its working so quickly, i must research up on that brand...any idea as to what caused the finrot fonkie? i know gareth listed the possible causes but do you know specifically what caused it...
