Newbie from Westrand

Hi, new on the forum. Got 3 tanks, 4vt community tank with angels, tinfoil barbs, clown loaches etc; 3vt Cichlid tank and 2vt tank with neons, guppies, mollies etc. Looking forward to discussions.

My 3 setups, only going for a month now so still work in progress. Drift wood still gives of tannins so working on it. But love being back in the hobby.

3vt Malawi tank, needs to do the background and rearrange some driftwood

Your tanks look great, my favourite being the Malawi tank (think I'm addicted to them). Your yellow tail acei looks really nice, been hunting for one for a while now. Does the driftwood not bring your pH to a more acidic side?

 

Welcome to the forum! I'm very interested in seeing more of the 4ft tank. Am busy planning how best to set mine up when it become available in future and am liking the idea of adding an angel fish or 2, but want a community tank so looking at good tank mates.

 

Lol, thats one of the 2 yoyo loaches. There is another 4 clown loaches in there.

 

I do 2 water changes a week until the driftwood have settled. Water perimeter is currently good.
