New to real plants

    Hi guys, I am new to the live plants, i bought a plant but dont know what it is, I want to add a few more but dont know what! my tank only has 3 fish in it atm, its 2 corrys and a fighter...so advice would be so much needed! thanx

    Could be Echinodorus Amazonicus or Echinodorus Bleheri. Possible to get a better photo of the leaves?

    im thinking hygro perhaps giant???

    @Siamese fan that brown stuff your plant is in its stone wool very bad for you fish especially there gills please remove it all and then you can plant it. nice beginner plants are java fern and hygrophila polysperma they are easy to grow..also found easily at your lfs

    You could be right. I didn't see it's a stem... :embarrest:

    thanx i just removed it from the tank and added some more plants...the guy at the LFS sead it would work.

    You can go for any kind of aquatic easy growing plants. Just go have a look at some images so that you can see what they look like and how to keep them happy.
