20220511_161513.jpg 20220511_084448.jpg Hi I am new to this forum. I have been keeping fish on and off for as long as I can remember.
I recently started with a new tank. My end goal is to keep discuss. Tank for now has 4 Angel's bought on Monday and have laid eggs already. They will also be the excuse why I need a new tank for discuss. 10 Rummy nose tetra, 14 Cardinals 5 Silver tip tetra, 5 Ember tetra, 2 German rams, 2 Bristle nose plecos. Tank is 355 litres with a 90 lt sump. Tank has been running more or less a month.
I have co2 running where I placed the diffuser directly under the uptake pump. Also redone the plumbing with 40mm pvc. The thin half inch return pipe would restrict the 4500lt pump. The first section of the pipe directly above the pump is filled with 19mm granite stone to help break up co2 bubbles and increase absorption.
PH is around 7. Our tap water is so hard here with PH 8.5 or 9 and GH of 20.

    Welcome to the Forum.

Discus are awesome to keep. I had a setup of them a few years ago.
Word of advice, buy decent quality fish, even if it costs a bit more.

Thank you for advise. I am taking my time firstly to get water parameters under control. Getting there slowly. Then will start looking for good breeders. Have seen the posts on discuss section about Marco and the Prof. Reckon I will start there.

Both Marco and the Prof are very knowledgeable Discus keepers
They have given good advice on the forum over the years.
