Nope, I was just interested to hear what you are planning on keeping??

Apisto. Cacatuoides (I assume this is the 'Sunburst'?) are one of the least aggresive of all the Apistogrammas, so are a good choice, especially for people new to Apistos (dunno if you've kept them before??)!! I also assume that you will be keeping one male and one female??

What sized tank are you using?? Maybe consider getting a smallish Terracotta pot and sawing it in half, and place the half on the substrate for the female to shelter in, and if you are lucky, you may even get some babies??

Most apistos like a well planted tank so they can hide in the foliage or at least have the option to dive there if they feel threatened!! and wood is always good as it can provide nucks and Crannys for any babies to hide in!! The bristlenose may also enjoy a good rasp on the wood occasionally too!!

    Hope that helps??
    Cheers
    G!

Lizid ... looking at your pic it seems like you are using compost as the substrate ... you need to cap it with some silica sand our you will never see your fish. Might also want to run it without plants / fish for a while - get over the compost leaching, then drain it plant the plants in the sand, make sure you do no disrupt the compost etc ...
