New Planted 15l Tank

Being inspired my all the members beautiful planted nano tanks, I decided to go small and try my hand at a little 15l planted tank.

Specs:
Standard 300mm*225mm*225mm tank
Atman HF300 HOB filter
Hagen 100w heater
ADA Aquasoil substrate
Synthetic grass background
1*14w CFL Cool White

Dosing with Microbelift Bloom and Grow once a week. No CO2 as yet. The tank is now 2 weeks old and I am thinking of a rescape.

Fauna - Guppies, thanks to GDT78, and a Male Betta

Lookin' good - plants are nice and healthy! Interested to know what the backdrop is and how you created it?

 

Synthetic grass background is cool! could mount some plants on that?

Very nice, might just be my preference, but perhaps some sort of carpet forming plant, if you are going to add co2 some dwarf baby tears perhaps. But nice tank

Looking great, i just want to know what you are adding for the plants, because i have a 14 what cfl cool white light in my 15litre tank but my plants die!!

Thanks for all the kind comments. Nothing much has happen since - what I have done is removed all the fish and added some Java Moss and Spiky moss from Byron. Thats going crazy - looks like ladders of moss - also have some green algae going on th spiky. The ludwigia lost all its leaves initially and then gew all new smaller leaves. The plant in the 1st pic - corner left have grown like crazy and even gone emerse. I will do a small clean up of the glass and take a pic for upload.

The best of the plants come from the members of this forum - I start here - if that fails totally, then only do I got to the LFS. Thanks GDT8 and ByronB

@ Javei - I use Bloom and Grow. lights are one from 7pm to 5pm - 4 hours on, 2 hours off and 4 hours on.
