    hi All,

I am new to the forum, I figured, what better a place to meet up with like-minded individuals who share the same interests and can help shed light on random events. lols

I breed fighters, I have been able to breed 5 spawns successfully, each time, the spawn getting bigger with experience. I now have very limited space so my hobby has taken a lil bit of a back seat.

I currently have an outdoor pond with a stowaway guppy whom I named lucky, because if I didnt buy the plants(which at the time I intended to grow) he would not be with me. I since bought him a mom and dad. Dad spread his seed and disappeared and mom was left to raise Lucky and 6 babies. They are no juveniles and she had another spawn of 8. So yeah, I have alot of fish. regarding my fighters, these i usually give to friends, nothing fiscal at the moment but I am planning on bringing unique fighters to Cape Town. Whoop whoop CPT.

Donald (Donald Trump)s tank - aptly named after his star spangled banner look and he has white lips - and scowls like the man lols
Gary the snail with the spawn grow out tank
Zeekeovlei guppies - these were interesting. At the time, I had a baby catfish as well - but he sadly died :(

Donald shares a tank with 2 sinodontis - one black and one brown who at night scour the bed. Once I caught one of them during a WC and he shrieked... anyone else experience this? Almost like a lil cry for help....

Thanks. The pond just came about lols. If it wasn't for lucky, I wouldn't have one lol. It was also to try get those water plants to multiply so that I could just pick out what I needed when I needed and now it's a lil overrun with the floating plants. The pads I need to sort out with some potting soil at another stage so that it can actually start spreading. But eventually I'm hoping to increase it for planting purposes. It's nice to have a steady supply of looked after plants for the tanks. They make huge differences and the hornwort and, elodia are growing super well below the surface.

In an unrelated but linked post, this is my lil noodle. He loves harassing the guppies cos he drinks the water while they think it's feeding time  and he's still trying to figure out why when he drinks, the surface stirs afterward
