Hi there!

We are a couple, Tommie & Mari, and we reside in Polokwane.

Having a love for Bettas we want to look into the possibility of breeding locally as while we were shopping around it was really difficult to find good quality Bettas we have searched online, on other forums etc but were unable to find other Betta breeders in our area.

We are on several forums where we have been learning much about breeding with Betta (including international breeders forums).

Our research is ongoing but we have done extensive research already. First looking to source good quality Betta fish before embarking on our expected breeding program. Loving Bettas we do however have some "pet" fish.

Hoping to come into contact with other Betta breeders and possibly collaborating with them in future! Some of the needed product seems to be difficult to source in South Africa fro the forums we are already a part of such as IAL (Indian Almond Leaf) as well as Java moss etc.

Hoping to gain interesting insight from other South Africans!
