I`m a newbie in fishkeeping, but must admit I am already addicted to the forum. Can`t stop all the info available here is amazing!

    I have a 1,2m x 50cm x 75cm tank setup. ( 450Lt )

    3 x 150W Heaters
    2 x Internal Astro Powerfilters (2 000lt/hr )

Fish: 7 Guppys, 2 Swordtails (pair), 6 Zebra danio, 12 neon tetras, 3 red eye tetras,
2 Angelfish, 2 Gold Algae Eaters, 8 harlequin Rasboras.

I`ve got some pebbles I Would like to add to the setup, but don`t now if it is going to give me some problems????............. (Posting a pic)

Nice setup, those pebbles should be fine. Just pop them in some boiling water to
kill some badies and you should be fine.

    Welcome to TASA

pebbles should be fine - if you collected them then or they come from the garden then give them a quick boil - that should kill any funny eggs and stuff ..

:wondering:Won`t the pebbles be hard to clean with a siphon gravel cleaner?

Yeap - you want to cover the substrate with them ? Then yes it will be hard to clean. Could build a pile, wall use it as a decorative mound ...

Hi and welcome to the forum.
the Pebbles will be fine in your tank and yes if you try and do Vacuum cleaning then you are going to strugle but it is not impossible and those pebbles will look great in your tank....

Hi gert, I updated the profile as requested......... I just upgraded to 2x 300W heaters in the tank.:wondering: Is that to much, and if so why?

Thanks for all the advice on the pebbles..... I decided not to put it in as I don`t want to struggle with the cleaning. The tank is very deep and all things done at the bottom is done with a struggle

Welcome to TASA. Pebbles do look nice in a tank but when siphoning, they can get pushed under the finer gravel.
