New guy on the block wanting to do 60l planted tank

    Hello all I just got a small 60l tank jip 2ft tank I got my hang on the back filter and sponge filter on the side and a small internal then I have a 100w heater month end getting seachem black flourish as substrate I am stuck at what lighting to use a dual t5 light or leds pls advice ladies and gents

    Definitely go with LED if possible- lower power consumption, longer lifespan. Rest of the tank setup sounds good.

    Lights = LED. A Zedlight MS-60 or equivalent should suffice.

    Filtration sounds a bit much. One should suffice, preferably the HOB, providing the flow rate is sufficient for the tank volume.

    What's your plan on how to scape this tank? Ie, style?
    What type of plants and livestock did you have in mind?

    It's a dolin sf 280 rated for 280l per hour says it's perfect flow rate for shrimps I m thinking of doing a pair of Apistogramer red fin then 2 Cory's 2 ottos and if I can red rosoba fish just 4 plants easy starter plants like Java fern moss swords anubis also would like a carpet plant thinking of having a tank made see 61 cm is the only length I have was thinking 61 by 33 either 45 or 50 high with top and bottom brace

    Just one thing to mention is about school sizes: rasboras are schooling fish who behave, look and do much better in a group of 6 plus. The more the better.
    Corys actually also but perhaps not quite as important as for rasboras.
