Vis - I have 8 tanks at the moment. I still have the German Yellow as well. I stopped with the Aquamarine, they were not breeding true. Yes, that is a blue grass guppy.

They are dropping fry already but I will not be selling for a while.

 

The yellow one looks to have red eyes....possible albino gene?

First time hearing of someone having Full Reds in their tank . . . .in South Africa!!!

I'm getting some 50+ show guppies soon....will sell/trade if anyone interested...

 

Hi TankMaster - sorry I was away at Kruger for the weekend and came back last night.
Yes, the yellow one has red eyes so they are albino.
Full reds - I cannot assume that I am the only one that has this strain but it is possible.
Where are you getting your show guppies from? Unfortunately, I do not have anymore tank space.

Space is a problem in most of our tanks

 

I now someone who has some. I'm not sure if they are mixed strains or if they are pure...he told me show guppies but I highly doubt. I guess I will have to see them to know for sure that they are?

They were just not strong from the word go and developed a fungal infection about 3 weeks after they arrived. I was not able to save them.

 

You think the full red albino gene has a weaker immune system?

 

Hey Irma are you in the mood to try and line breed golden Endlers?

 

Hi TM - I have no idea. All I know is that they were not strong and became sick very easily. I was hoping to have abatch of fry from them but they only produced 6 fry which also became sick.

Vis - I have never had Endlers. Do you have a pic of them?

 

I think it is a genetic defect if the babies suffered the same fate.
