not sure if any of you have used this before ... purchased some from a non-sponsor LFS so here is my take on it.

about 4 grams per block - it comes with 2 suckers in the large tub (290g) - testing them in some tanks at the moment

    guppies go crazy for it

it might be a bit chunky and too much for some tanks.

It does have a fare amount of falloff form fish nibbling at it, but not a 100% sure I will be using this for daily feeding, more like a treat.

Seems like the new craze is food which sticks to the glass.

I'm interested in trying gel food. The repashy range. Just need to see where I can find it

Well more to the point I think the guys are not bringing it in anymore ... so hard or impossible to find.

In my opinion New Era is the best fish food ever! Unfortunately for us; the local SA Importers botched the whole deal with New Era in the UK. They ended up by getting huge stocks stuck at the airport by not getting it through customs. At the time, I'm not sure if it got destroyed or sent back to the UK?

Just a thought. :) This might be an opportunity for some-one with all the correct Know-how to get it back into the country again? I'll be first in line to place my order!

Correct ... this is my understanding also.
Also something about labeling and ingredients - but this was a few years back.

@f-fish Correct; maybe an opportunity for some-one running an import/export PTY LTD etc. Phyto-sanitary Certificates, licensing, lots of paperwork and also have a generous amount of cash to invest! I can only hope that it does come back to SA one day; as I loved the stuff!

New Era has been aquired by World Feeds, a USA based company. It is still however manufactured in the UK. Rebranded as Vitalis Aquatic Nutrition. Have any of you seen this brand on the local shelves?

    My lfs stocks it.
Even though it is made locally, it is quite expensive. I have a tub or two, but only feed now and then. It is not a staple.
