new camera just some pics

    hey guys got hold of a actual camera and not a cell phone
    thought i would grab some snaps, was not nearly as easy i thought dam fish do not stay still

    lol thanks man, need to figure out how it works lol took 40 plus pics and these are the only ones that are kind of good

    A good tip with taking photo's through glass is taking them at an angle to prevent the reflection. Ideally without a flash.. but without flash is also tricky (experienced that other night) If you REALLY want to go right with photo's use a polarizing filer on the lens, amazing the difference.

    Just remember that a polarizing filter will drop exposure with about two stops if memory serves right here.

    I gave up shooting my tank. Not easy work at all. Not even with 160+ watts of lights on.

    Get the light inside the tank and don't use the flash - it will just bounce off the glass and cause a reflection.

    Also set your shutter speed to max, that way you can take out a lot of fish movement.

    Another alternative is to take continual shots for the exact moment the fish stays still...

    Might have over sold the camera just a small lil digital one not huge clip on lense one.
    the babies are eating a gel food I make up seems to work well
    got idea of YouTube guy call cichlidman09
