new 4 ft under construction

    bought a second hand 4ft tank slowly been putting it together. This is what i got so far.

    Very nice butcherman. What you planning to keep in there or haven't you decided yet??? It'll be great to see the progress pics as you get it :D

    Seems as though you are also suffering from MTS :D

    lol you have only seen one ot ther other 4 tanks :p the dicus and angels going in here it also has a 90l sump under the tank.

    here are some more pics i got a lone molly in there and an ancesrtid while the tank cycles

    Some easy growers is what I can recommend to go in there ie, Limnophillas, Anubias, Microsorums, certain Ludwigias. Most of these you'll find at your LFS. I'll post a few specifics tonight when I'm home

    Fully agree Butcherman. Names only doesn't help much. You never even sure that the LFS knows the right info on fishes, let alone giving you the right plant if you ask for it by name

    Went to a lfs on Sunday.
    Asked the guy in the aquarium dept.(after battling to get his attention away from his girl)"Do you stock Flourish?"

    Answer i got.
    What do you use it for?

    You wouldn't believe all the different "Java ferns" we've run into.... Luckily I've seen a pic, so I had some idea what to look for. Only found one supplier (out of +- 5, who actually had the right thing!!!)..
