    So here goes.

I have had this plan for some time and the rocks 2 but not the tank.
Got a 3Ft tank and started the setup.

It is going to be bit of a long term project to get it where I want it but will share along the way.

The focus of the tank would be the fish in the end and not the tank itself, but are trying my best to get the right feel for it.

The end product I am looking for is a landscape resembling a vast outstretched grassy field with some rocks.

The rocks are set in "stone" so no changing there but other idees would be considered.

This is how the rocky landscape started out. The white rock in the middle does have a plan to it:smile1:

This is what happened to the white rock. Waiting for the moss to fill in. Will trim it quite often to ensure it does not go all over the place.

In the tank before adding everythinig else. Made this before I got the tank but luckily it fits.

    That tank looks familiar!! lol!

Very nice dude! I like the look of the scape. I think it will look nice when filled in! Now you need a pressurized Co2 system and you can use HC to carpet the tank! It will look awesome!

Yup it should:p See what I do whith stuff you sell me.

CO2 is not really a option but it would have been awesome. Trying to keep it as lowtech possible.

Nothing, I tried to have it big enough so that its edges would also rest over the stand. The idee was to spread
The weight of the rocks over a bigger area. The styrofoam attached also helps to make it lighter in the water.

Vis... put a piece of styrofoam between the 2 glasses. If a small piece of gravel gets between the 2, if will crack one of the 2... either the bottom or the top.. and you know murphy... proabbly the bottom.

OK added some gravel, water and lights.
The backing is going to be removed and replced with something else. Might be a black background. Only noticed I turned on the blue light alone after taking the photos.

    Water still a bit cloudy.

With other lights turned on and backing removed.

Thanks guys. It is always difficult to get a picture out of your head into something and make it look the same,
but this is comming along well.
Wil post more pics tonight. Have some plants in that's going to take some time to fill in..

I have added some plants but not all of them will stay. Some will go when the hairgrass filled in nicely. This might take a billion years but planning on helping them along with some of the Prof's Ferts.

The moss on the middle tower also have some growing to do

The banks will later be filled up with Anubias Nana.

And if you where a fish I guesse this is what you will see
