Need some Help - My Molly is close to become a mother.

I am still new to the fish hobby and I just picked up this afternoon my molly is so fat, it looks like she is going to explode. She is also hiding away from the male. What is the correct procedure to get her to do her thing and that the other doesn't eat everything up, like the Angels.

 

Hi Stalker

Get hold of a baby breding bowl or net that clips to side of tank
put it in same tank so that there are no water changes to aviod stress
may be some small pice of plant for hiding place
make sure there are water serculation were you put it

If no exstra tank, baby net
What I have done in the past is to get a bugget(plastic) 10-20liters fill whith tank water
put air stone in and some plants no sand putt her in and do not disturb

If no fry after 2-3days put her back in tank and let it happen natural if you got lots of
plants or hiding place in tank thats good

thats just a idea seek more help the bugget is just a boerre plan

IMO: Soon, but a not yet. You'll have to pace the maternity waiting room a while longer.:worried:

If you've got plenty of floating plants, mama & babies should be okay.

The photo doesn't do her justice. She is really way bigger than she looks like on the photo. It looks like my other Molly is also going to become a mother.

 

The male molly I've got is really out on a jol. He got hold of all 3 the females in my tank and they all looks like they are going to become mothers.

The problem I've got now is that if the Mollies go to the wrong side of the tank, they are getting hammered by 6 Gourami's.
