I think the supply chain has taken a serious knock with lockdown and that’s why you’re struggling more than usual at the moment.

The lilliopsis and s repens I think are grown by local growers eg Epic Aquatics but not sure about the others. Perhaps ADA in vitro pots, which would have to be imported?

Hope the Gauteng guys can point you in the right direction.

I've seen most of those plants available in various fish stores, except the Marsilea Hirsuta and the Helanthium Quadricostatus. Best bet would be to ask somewhere like AquaEmpire in Randburg, or the new shop @ShrimpNation

thanks guys for you input, i thought finding most of these plants would be easy as they are relatively common but i guess they stopped growing/ stocking these during this virus, i have emailed Aqua empire and even Epic Aquatics, hopefully they would respond. will send shrimpNation a email as well

AquaEmpire unfortunately doesn't really reply to emails. It would be best to phone them or visit. ShrimpNation is a user here, so sending him a direct message is probably best

My Hygrophila corymbosa (Giant hygro) is growing out slowly. I'll kindly send some but you'll have to wait a bit for it. I took out a massive load in December, pity you didn't need them then

Thank you for your offer @TetraJacques , i have changed my back ground plants to Hygrophila difformis and Hygrophila polysperma i got them from rebel pets so i dont think i need the Giant hygro now.
i have got Lilaeopsis brasiliensis and the background plants from rebel pets, now i just need to wait for the midground plants and the Marsilea Hirsuta, any suggestions for plants similar look to Helanthium Quadricostatus which are low tech? i was thinking Sagittaria subulata but i havent seen this plant any where

Yes dwarf sag, or how about the smaller crypts like Cryptocoryne beckettii 'Petchii'. The dwarf species of amazon sword also look similar.

Looking good! I'm guessing you're following the George Farmer guide?

added the Marsilea Hirsuta and two Cryptocoryne wendtii, but my drift wood kinda broke into two parts so tied it up with some string for now until i figure out how to put it back together and got some bacterial bloom as well, i also decided to go with Scape complete fertilizer, i normally used the Seachem fertilizer method but want to try something easier.

Looking good! Pity about the driftwood though. Something that might work is getting some liquid, not gel, superglue and some cotton pads/balls. You place the driftwood together as you want, wedge a piece of cotton in a small crack, and pour the superglue onto it. The cotton will wick the superglue around, and it gives a really secure join

Yeah, and sprinkle some crushed aquasoil on the glue before it dries to hide any white glue spots
