Think they have to be / form a couple. A male and a female together doesn't mean they are (or will become) a breedingcouple. Greetz Aad

Angelfish are social fish. Normally you have a shoal of 5/6 (minimum) . Out of a shoal one or
    more couples can be formed.

Try upping the temp by a degree or two.
Also, add some blood worms and brine shrimp to their diet.

If they are youngsters, it could be that the male is not ready yet.

    Hi Eesa

It is true what the members are informing you. I only started out with Angels in January, but the pair I have is on a spawning cycle presently. They are spawning continuously and have now produced over 1000 fry which only 50% had survived. This pair has worked well thus far but also tend to keep their batches not to large as some fry became food for them. They have been using different spawning sites to lay there eggs on, like the base on the tank, sponge filter and under ground filter plate. You would need to have a group and let them select their partners once this is establish, you would need to prepare a tank away from any traffic and not be disturb. Good food, clean water, water parameters and something to spawn on.

Yes. Mine spawn in my 300l with 70 odd fish. My others have just spawned in my 100l with German Blue Rams and Corydoras.
