need help stocking my tank off peacock cicklids

need help to stock up my 4foot i have alreday 4x male ahli , 2x blotch to young to kno sex, 3x male banchee and 4x female banchee and 2x clown loaches and 2x plecos , i am trying to breed them and just heard that my lfs had orderd sum really nice fish like borleyi , yellow banche, ahlis so need help !! can sum one please help! @<<Nemo>> @zaahier @ jack stone

 

i have 3 other spare tanks that are just empty, trying only to have ahli and banchee in tank i will, get more females in tank

 

and on the hybrid i wont mind i would mostly keep those or give them away to friends that want them

sorry for the late reply, but you will need to increase the amount of females
to shed aggression across. you will notice one or 2 fish gets bullied more than
the others, this is what you can expect, but just watch them closely so that
the damages are not tooo bad. you see a packed “lots of rock" tank will
mean areas that the fish needs to dominate. what I use to do back then if i
only want the one type of auloncara in the tank i would then remove all rocks
but keep tank well stocked up with fish ratios i had great success with is . 2
females to one male. This is only my ratios and it’s not a must to follow.

relating to your current comments in the thread...ill move the rocks around
drop the temperature to about 24c. Quick question how much do you feed your
fish per day??

 

they are fed twice a day, ampel food im trying to breed them so temp should be higher ! at the moment i have 4 males and 8 females did add alot of rocks so will update pics by tonight , i picked up sum yellow banchee male and female will post by tomorow, how old should females be before they are able to breed?
