@Rickus - Yup - looks like Java Fern to me... The one in the right back corner seems to be an Amazon sword...Echinodorus parvifolius it looks like with that new submerged leaf it has grown on the right side...Is the new growth sorta "crinkly edged" - most probly E.parvifolius then...

It get s a bit big - I suggest moving it away from the corner nowalreadu to be able to spread its crown nicely as it grows...

Looks good though....will look real nice when the JavaFern gets going...Grats mate!

    Im no expert.
Think it is the 20w CFL and the Flourish Comp.
Negitave side - Neon Green algae spots on the glass.

When Im doing water changes, I use 5ml of ferts for 200l for each of the big tanks. and use this prepared dosed water to top up ( water change) the Nano.
Might be a little strong, but the 5ml is diluted with 20l. ( to top up the big tanks when doing a water change )
Hope you understand what im trying to say.... Afrikaanse boertjie

gotcha Rickus. I should've added my photo period at this stage is only 3-4 hours a day as the nano is prone to an array of algae. also started dosing with Flourish Excel. when my sera plant ferts run out I'll get some Flourish Comp I think.

Awsome little tank Rickus, the main problem with these tanks are - somehow the fish seem to increase miraculously - and then one has to get a bigger tank.... and of course put some newbies in the Nano :p

Mine has changed fish soooo may times - as its inhabitancs got to many - but then I have fun all over again setting up a new tank!

It looks great, and the Java Fern should fill in beautifully over the next few months
