Mystery Tanganyikan cichlid

    So I got 5 of these cichlids today. They were mixed in with a wild caught import of Tanganyikan fish. The importer wasn't even too sure what species they were. I'm going to upload a better picture later once they settle in and colour up more.

    Looks interesting.
    Possibly a young Petrachromis ?
    And the top and bottom ones possibly a Goby cichlid.

    Will probably become easier to id as they grow

    I agree with the goby cichilid. Who was the importer out of interest?

    Samaki kings. I help them out sometimes and I get my choice of fish when they come in.

    Agree. Pic 1, same as last Pic looks like eretmodus but I don't think so since there's no spots.

    Pic 2 and 3 looks like
    (NEO) Lepidiolamprologus hecqui

    Most of them look like telmatochromis temporalis.

    I think I have a male and female pair of Lepidiolamprologus hecqui as well and they look different.
