I started a wabi kusa ball a week or two ago. It is actually emmersed plants that you plant in a substrate ball.

My original one was wrapped in a stocking like material and fulled with palm fibre peat and stones and osmocote.

Then today I got some coir fibre from the nursery and decided to make another one.

    And then planted it.

I think I got too much time on my hands, hehe.

Looks cool. How long does it grow for, before it's overgrown?

interesting , you only have the ball immersed but the plants seem to always be moist. do you spray them with water?

    Just a little update.

Decided to scape my wabi kusa tank. Added some river pebbles that I had lying around.

    In it's final position.
