So after having this tank for a few years, and then passing on to my sister. She got married and moved to Cape Town, couldnt take the tank with her so i decided to "rescue" it and give it a makeover.
Dont know what i am going to use it for yet, but for now just wanna get it looking presentable again.

So Far iove cleaned it and removed the front panel.

Will post as I do go along

Nice to see old faithfulls resurrected.... Got my 1st tank for christmass when I was 5....today,30 years later my sisters kids keep 4 goldfish in it....

Spot of advice --> use some vinegar on a soft cloth to get rid of those marks on the front glass - just rinse off well afterwards....

Hey guys, been very busy and sick the last few weeks so havnt done much!!! :-( I have since only put in the internal filter. Will post pics tomorrow...

I must get some more silicone to put the front glass on(bought a new one as the vinegar thing wasnt working for me or i just dont have the patience for that), and then i can test it. hoping to have it dun by the end of the week
