Yes, enjoyed growing out this one so got 2 more. I'm hoping for a pair off between the 3. I like watching them interact.

Its cool when the little ones are wrestling and the big one comes rushing from the otherside of the tank and breaks up the fight by flaring at them.

@BoelderBeestie, that oscar of yours is stunning...

Hope the 2 babies turn out as nice
    I love my oscars too..
I have a pair of albino reds that (I think) are stunning... They spawned once last year but the eggs grew fungus on them and they have never spawned again....
    Maybe one day they will...

Thank you @MariaS. I will try and simulate the seasons of the tropics when they start pairing(hopefully). I will keep them under discus conditions when they lay eggs to try and avoid the fungus.

Two of my discus are starting to become very lovey dovey and are always together so I'm watching them like a hawk.

They are still too young but its nice to see them interacting like that. It gives one hope.

Your aro is putting on some nice weight. Much bigger now hey. What tank size are you keeping him in. I'm asking as mine is in a 1.8x50x60. I need this tank for my discus later on and with the aro tank upgrade I was thinking of going wider rather than much longer say 2mx1mx60cm. So that he can swim around more and patrol rather than just left and right.

If you refering to the Super Red, yes... she has grown... the picture on the avatar is actually a while back but it eats like a little piggy...
She is in a 2.3 x 800 x800 which for now is more than enough
Asians dont get as big as the silver

Now... Cesar's silver like yours, we measured her at just under 80cm on saturday when he put her in the big tank...
Her height from belly to top is about 15cm at least
That tank is 3.3 by i think 150 or 120, cant remember now, by 900 and she looks majestic in there!!

He has been hectic busy this week but Im sure he will update his thread soon with pictures

Sweet. Cant wait for the update. Mine is now 53cmx12cm. I saw him acting up in the 300 I had him in because of the small space.

The problem is I cant go that big now as I'm renting. Wont get the thing through the door haha. I'll have to build it inside then. I'm looking at property as we type. Want to buy a place in the next year or so.

He seems very happy in his tank for now. I have no problems with him at the moment luckly. I also put foam over the brace so he doesnt hurt his back when he swirls and they do love their swirling every now and then haha.

Yep... thats what they did.. they built it on site... its almost impossible to meve that tank and they werent prepared to take the risk either

But your looks very happy for now so you have got time.
