Interesting marbles typically show up in tanks if somebody tried to breed danios helps to create a hiding space for fry.

The rocks in the big tank have some nice shapes - are they local from the area or you get them as imports form an LFS?

OR marbles show up in the tank if you have kids and they think it looks nice! Lol

No idea where the rock originally came from, it was passed on to me and I just liked the shape

Its nice to have some fry in your tanks, it usually means that you are doing something right. Good luck!!

    Nice tank.

I always like the idea of some backing though. Don't like looking through a tank to the wall behind. Find it distracting.

    Just an update. .

I've removed the goldfish from my big tank and placed my guppies in it, I added a background (temporary till I decide on a permanent one)

My guppy fry is growing up nicely (they are now separate in the small tank)

I've added 2 more tanks to my collection but will fill them with fish once I decide what type
Currently I have 2 betta fish in the new big tank that belongs to my brother in law

Very nice setup, do I spot a clown loach at the bottom? That is the fish I'm buying next. (Would've gotten some yesterday, but they've got white spot so the shop refused to sell them before they're healthy again. I'll just wait...)

    CLown loaches available

Hi there. Yes they are a pair clown loaches. I have had them for a few years now. I am moving away overseas, so if you are in or around the Joburg area, I would be happy if you would like to take them. Happy for them to go to a good home, rather than selling them back to the pet shop. They are best in pairs as they do get very lonely on their own. They are also very playful fish. Always grabbing and tossing around my gravel, one tiny stone at a time.

Clown Loaches settled in and is starting to come out more often. Currently have 4 of them, 1 pleco and 1 siamese fighter together in a tank without issues.

Want to move them to the bigger tank during this week and move the guppies to this tank.
