here is my tank

 

got some big rocks in there

 

ya lol. they were the only ones i could find in my garden. but the fish seem to be happy.

The tank is only a 3foot.:frown: I have learnt thus far that it is to small, As usual conned by the local LPS.:tomato: I am busy building a new tank.
1.5m*600*600 which I hope will be big enough.:hmmmm2:

Ok I have made some changes to the tank.
I have taken out the big rocks and put my old two rock features that I bought of my first tank and added an extra canister filter. Hopefully that will work till I can build my bigger tank. Will post pics when I get a new light, my light decided to give up on me. So much for good quality, (another LPS sales pitch).

 

I have found a 2m*750*700 tank and the guy wants R4000 for the tank and stand is that a good deal or what should i offer him?

 

find out how old the tank is, chek whether the silicon is wearing out also. What mm is the glass? If its 2nd hand i would say its a bit steep for that price

 

Wito - We bought one last month same size, with sump, lighting, stand and heaters for R2000-00 ( see the post on our new 2m tank )
Check out Gumtree and have patience or offer him R2000 and se what he says.

 

Is it a brand name tank? Because then the price is about right.

If it's just a shop made tank, then it's a bit rough.

 

No it is a hand made tank and metal stand no wood covers. the glass is 10mm.

 

why dont you put up a wanted ad on gumtree, i saw a couple tanks up for sale a while back

 

i have been looking at the tanks for sale on all the places but i have to wait for something of mine to be sold before i can make any offers. but i will def keep my eyes and ears open.
