Zoom- Used your suggestions and put in a small airstone. Removed the other airstone from the front.
I also removed the non aquatic plant and now I'm going to have to wait for the little ones I put in its place to grow up, but I think th tank def looks better :)

looks nice. like how your using hornwort as a 'planted' plant. i just tangle mine into other plants and let them grow upwards. that mid tank betta looks like its stealing the shot, lol, publicity junky:)

Thanks I think the hornwort looks more effective planted :) Didnt know the name so double thanks :)
Yes Baldon does like the limelight, he's super shy with the other fish, but as soon as a person enters the room he parades around the tank. Just love him-has the best personality ;)

Now that's a prize winning set up Kat. Well done. I like it a lot. What type of lighting do you have above? The pink haze looks interesting! My wife is like..." Look a PINK tank... I want one too..."

    Thankyou :)
I dont know anything about lighting- went to the aquarium shop and they gave me an electronic ballast starter unit and the bulb is a resun 10W aqua-lamp in red-says it is for fresh water and plant growth. Hope this helps? The shop owner suggested red because it was originally intended for my goldfish and the red brings out their colour. I think thats where the pink haze is from- reflection off my white river grit. The pink haze (as u call it) does look quite cool tho.
