Nice .. not sure all the plants are true aquatic - time will tell how they do in your tank.

Thing about BIG stones for substrate .. it has a small surface area and collects debris, you might also find that some of your smaller stem plants do not do well since root zone is near zero.

Now the thing is to let it sit a few weeks and see what worked and what did not.

Agree with Ferdie. I used river pebbles (10-20mm) and huge amounts of waste built up. Very difficult to gravel vacuum! The "pebbles" you have look nice and will probably go quite nicely with a 4mm pfs/0.4mm pfs blend with your pebbles mixed in on the surface. Looking good.

so i had to take my white clouds out coz they were eating all my best looking guppies ate my two panda corys a peppered cory and one albino cory and a betta male that was blue and red beautiful fish he was o and my 5cm leopard pleco. As soon as i took them out my talking three striped catfish that is also about 5-6cm long came out his cave for the first time since i put the white clouds in there think they went in a week afta he got there . Been about 4days nw and my guppies ,corys and talkng cat r loving life in the tank nw the talking cat is out most of time wen the lights go on and its feeding time . Would like to knw r harlequins or neons also so agressive but i think im going to go get my self some dwarf gouramis instead nice an piece full tank.

so you dont think that a catfish isnt a predator fish? and he comes out of the cave now because he is looking for other fish to eat now?

    Hey Jacques.

The white clouds are not the issue here. That Talking cat is the culprit. Corydoras have spikes in their fins and a boney structure. So most likely what happened is they where swallowed and spit out by the cat because it couldn't swallow them. Did you actually see the white clouds nipping the guppy's? I'd say move the Cat to it's own tank and leave everything as is for a week or two and then decide. And another thing. What do you feed the Catfish?

ya.. i think that you should do a google research on fish before you add fish to a community tank!! it will be quite hard to find anything on carnivorous white clouds anywhere!!

i tought it was my cat but his only 5-6cm big if that yes i saw the white clouds destroy a male guppy in front of me but only the males !!!!!!!!!!! I put the white clouds in a otha tank with nuthing else threw in a crappy guppy and the same thing ate every fin off his body then died . So either my clouds r mini paranas or gansters . Like i say my cat is smaller than my corrys brav. i feed flakes for the guppies and tetra pellets for the corys and cat but the guppies ,corrys and the cat luvs the flakes and pellets they all eat together nw neva use to b like that with the clouds in them

mmm that is strange ... it is possible that you have some aggressive fish. it is just hard to believe because white clouds have a reputation of being gentle fish... they are related to goldfish afterall.
is it possible to post a photo of these white clouds please?

Very very strange. You might be on to something there @Ryno..

Hahahaha gangster white clouds.. not even our fish are safe anymore:cheesy: I had about 20 clouds with fantail goldies at one stage. the goldies often tried to gobble up the clouds.. but never the other way around!

See if you can upload a video of the little beasts devouring something (something non living!!)

Maybe the white clouds think your female guppies are actually mosquito fish (Gambusia affinis) and are attacking the male guppies out of competition for the females

Its not unusual for other fish to have a go at male guppies.

Hopefully, now that you have removed the White Clouds from the tank, the fish with the damaged fins will recover.
