These guys breeded in my community tank for the first time and i saw the eggs. I thought well when the breeding tank becomes available i will move them in there. So in my mind the eggs would be eaten and no harm done.

The next two days I watched and the eggs was gone so I thought nothing of it. The next day I was playing with my CO2 bottle and when I looked up I saw about 16 wrigglers.

At this time my breeding tank was open and ready to go so I grabbed a pipe and sucked them out.

I then removed the entire log they where on and moved them and the parents to the breeding tank.

This is how they are doing today

Nice wood, the fry are not bad either ... tagging along to see the progress, never did plate fish myself but always appreciate the effort one needs to expend on truly making discus work in a tank over a long period.
