Hi Everyone, been a bit quite lately.

Also changed my flavour in fish a bit. Loved my Venustus, however they never interacted with me.

Now I have some Americans, actually had them before, but moved them to my living room about 4 months ago. They are so awesome!

When I enter my house, these guys are wagging their tails!

Believe it or not, the Albino and large Oscar was the same size, both around 9 months old. They are in a 4Ft tank, which is 88cm high, which is about 350L. Filter is a Dolphin1000 conister, a large sponge and a cheap modified internal filter. They get 30-40% water changes weekly.

There is no clean up crew, as I do not believe in those, I do the cleaning.

As for aggression, they have their fits, but nothing to serious.

    Stunning Oscars @braailegend

They going to eventually probably need a 5ft.

The Jag is a stunning fish, just not sure if long term he will be ok with the Oscars, hope so.
We have tried Jags before but eventually they became very nasty so I have given up
They would even pick on the rays 10 times their size

    @braailegend,

    Very nice fish.
    Looks good.

    I agree with @MariaS
Oscars can be aggressive, and Jags even more so.
One needs a monster tank to keep some of the bigger SA Cichlids together

    fish looking good
think as said you going to have a long term issue with that stocking, would suggest setting up a emergency tank in the next few months and either upgrade to 700ltr plus tank or decide jag or oscars with current tank.
oscars are just not equipped to deal with a large angry jag. find jags true personality only come out when breeding or once they reach 25cm so you should have some time
