My planted tank

Here's a few pics of my almost finished 3foot planted tank. I did not soak my bogwood (only sterelised it) before adding it as I like the tannin stained look.I still want to add a few Java fern as well as some more Vallis in the back left corner.

Fish list:

6 x cherry barbs(thanks Irma)
8 x danios
3 x kribs (1 male, 2 female)

Still to come :

2 pairs endlers guppies
5 corys

 

Lovely tank there schloshd! I have always liked the natural tannin look And a lovely big piece of driftwood in there! Well done! +rep!

Just an idea,why dont you try take some pics with that under water camera of yours and see how thet come out?

so I tried taking a few pics from inside the tank. I quickly realised a few things: it's not that easy without goggles and a snorkel, my kribs are camera shy and lighting was a bit of an issue.
Anyway, here are a few that I took

Update

Here is an update on my 100lt. Have done a bit of a rescape, taking some plants out and adding others. Have also added 6 small ancistrus (courtesy of Khalid) as well as 2 otos. My kribs have aslo spawned in the tank

 

Looking good ... Andrew. Love the OTOS .. they are real keepers if they survive past week two in any tank.

 

Thaks F-fish, the otos are really cool. Have had them for around a month now and I was keeping an eye on them at the LFS for about a 3 weeks before I bought them so I'm fairly confident that they have a good chance of a long life. I would really like to get a few more but when I went back to the LFS a week later the rest of them were gone
