My planted Betta tanks

    Herewith pics of two my planted betta tanks. Didn't take udpated pics of the others yet

    Oh yes, I ripped some plants out of the 2nd tank last week to put in another tank, so excuse the middle being a bit empty.

    How do you get such good growth in your plants dude?

    im using the same substrate as you, you adding anything?

    Using Prof Bellstedt's ferts, that's about it bru :)

    lol, everyone seems to think so. I just think he's ok, nothing too special.

    I really like his colour shading, darker body to lighter fin ends!

    His trim on the outside are all black. He looks much better under color enhancement tubes though

    any chance of a closeup? I know this thread isnt about him! but im curious now to see a closeup!

    I see you using a HOB filter, you ever had a problem with them? Im quite skeptical when it comes to HOBs!

    Close-up pics are on the forum somewhere...can't remember for the life of me which thread it's in :( Have a search or browse through

    I have no problems with HOB. I love it so much that my planted 1.2m angel tank only has a HOB as a filter and does the job perfectly.

    Re open-top tanks, I don't get dust on the water surface. Actually quite a good question speedz....never even had any dirt on top of the water. However, I have lost a betta male because he got over-eager and jumped out of his tank. It is very unlikely for betta males to jumpers; females are the ones that jump a lot.
