Awesome aquarium and fish combination you have there. Just love the fact that you can add plants to a Tang tank.

    Hi Barry .

    Awesome setup.

Have a Tang community myself in a juwel 350l. I'm on instagram where I place my videos etc. Have spawns with tropheus pemba and multifacitus going. Look forward to your updates!

If you give them enough veg based food maybe you lucky and they leave the plants alone
I give my clowns cucumber so they didnt munch the plants but the rays thought they made comfortable beds

LOL, I can just imgain a ray sleeping on plants (they stand no chance)

I've never grown live plants I don't want to go with planted tank substrate and Co2 etc so can't seem to find any plants besides moss to growo_O

Thank @MariaS thats my thinking. I kept to the hardy plants. Hopefully the brevis won't dig up the crypts but the do get an variety off foods so im holding thumbs.

Don't worry about the brevis. Mine havn't dug up any of my vallis or crypts and the fry love the hiding space. Only have them digging between the shells

@Whoknows no need for fancy substrates and CO2 to grow some easy plants, well worth a try! If you can grow moss, you can grow java fern and a couple of other things ;)

Agreed you could do a lot with the hardy plants All off these came from small pots the Anubias I have cut into 4 pieces which are huge already. Crypts I had 4 babies bought for R10 each and they went crazy. All done with an little osmocote.
