Wil nie lekker saam speel nie maar julle kan in my album gaan loer, wil die overflow 'n bietjie verander dat dit in die tanks sit en ook die return moet van onder die tank af inkom as die tank gaan in die middel van 'n vertrek staan.

the edging is coming off. it was a old style tank with a alluminium frame (got movement) braced on the edges. the wood is coming off and the frame will be polished up. whatalotideasigot ha ha ha

What's the size on that tank? I'm assuming it's 1800mm, as in 6ft, and not 1800 liters?

So about 700 liters. That's a BIG tank. What are your plans for your new baby?

i'm leaning towards a cichlet tank, malawis or south american or maybe a bit of both???? the tank will be "sumped". can i plant anything in a cichlet tank and where can i get my paws on some lava rock and seachem products in Cape town (northern suburbs.)

I've read that you can plant certain types of Java Ferns and Anubias and they won't eat it, I've also heard that you might be able to get away with a nice dense planting of giant vallis (that you'll have to let grow out before you put the fish in), but cichlids are mostly vegetarians so they'll eat most plants that you put in.
