Guys, here is a pic I took last night of our new 400 liter tank. Inhabitants are:
    1 Medium angel
    2 Small angels
    2 Algea eaters
    2 Pangasius
    2 Bala sharks
    1 Black ghost knifefish
    1 Glass catfish
    1 Pretty tetra
    1 Silver tipped tetra
    1 Betta male

The tank looks great! I'm glad to see that you have three angels, many people get only one and the poor things are 'lost' without some buddies :) I would however seriously suggest that you make a few changes to your inhabitants though...The tank is WAAAYYYY to small for one Pangasius let alone two (do you have any idea how big they grow?? They get HUGE), why not take them back to LFS and swop them for some more Glass Catfish, 'Pretty' Tetras and Silver Tipped Tetras as these are all schooling fish and need to be kept in groups of a minimum of 5 each. It'll bring out their colours more as well. The male betta you MAY have to take out the tank with the tetras as they will most likely nip his beautiful fins. Your bala sharks will also be eating your tetras as soon as they grow bigger if they are currently small, so perhaps swop them out as well.

The layout of the tank looks awesome!

Thanks for the compliment and comment Veegal. Luckily I have one some research before I bought the pangasius. Planning is to build a big tank in about 4-5 years time. I used the tetras only as "water condition monitors" while I was busy commisioning the big tank. They will soon be moved back to the smaller tank where thay came from. As for the glass catfish, I agree with you. Unfortunately, at the moment I can not find any LFS in Gauteng that has any glass catfish in stock. Originally bought 2, but one has died. Hopefully I will get some this weekend as my one LFS has told me he is just waiting for his shipment to come in.

Cool as long as you know what you've gotten yourself into with those Pangasius, they are monsters :)

The strongest must survive. Either I eat him first, or he will eat me eventually LOL
