nope, sorry guys , no xmas moss or flame moss available ATM!! i will put it online if i do have anything that i dont need anymore.

although, i would be willing to sacrifice a few treelike christmas moss pieces for a good piece of drift wood!!

    UPDATE TIME!!!:creep:
The nano has been overgrown, the moss had a huge trim, i removed the pennwort from the front of the tank and now it is growing like mad out the back filtration area, the grass also got a trim and i removed some java ferns that weer too bushy.

pennywort growing emersed out the back... its stem changes to a red color out of water and there is no roots that come out of the leaf nodes.

@cheekychops - Dude! That Christmas Moss bush is so cool . I have some and didn't realize it would get that kind of volume (I thought it would grow flat/horizontal). How are you growing it? In the substrate or is it tied to something?

I have a fake bonsai tree that I was wanting to grow "bushes" on and this looks like it might work

@MarkHawke the xmas moss is growing along a piece of wood. it was originally a few strings of moss that i confused with java moss. This is because with xmas moss if you do not give it enough light and leave it to float around it does not grow like xmas trees but rather resembles java moss. Very difficult to tell the 2 apart when U have misformed Xmas moss. thankfully i had a lucky mistake and ended up with the xmas moss that i also think LOOKS AWSOME!!

Anyways, this might be my last update with this setup as i am getting bored with this scape and am planning something totally different.

Thanks @cheekychops. Mine has already started growing upwards so hopefully I can give that a try. Good luck and enjoy coming up with a new scape. I think I still have a long way to go before I change my tank.

here is a pic of my growout tank it is a 40L tank, pretty much a place where i put the plants i dont know what to do with, it is not scaped just plants planted here and there. that is where i will try and fit the wood. As for a pic of the new scape ... that will have to wait :p

I have serious Fissidens envy right now!
The plants are all looking super healthy, so they should fill in the new scape well.
