    Thanks people!!!

@Whipme no no trimming has been done. it is just growing densely like mad in 1 area, i have the flame moss in the middle on the part of the protruding driftwood. and then i have my fav plant in the tank (chistmas moss) behind it, the christmas moss is growing really compact aswell. thank you again for this tank, its deffo my fav tank. ps all that brazillian pennywort is from that one little piece you gave me, really cool plant and it loves my nano. i like the effect it gives with the hanging roots when it floats on top of the water looking like mini waterlily.

I have done a small rescape today after getting some new plants. im still trying to figure out how and where i can fit that pennywort in as i dont like it in the front of the tank, i will most prob move it to the back left. im running out of floorspace in here fast!!!

The pennywort likes growing out of water as well, so maybe see if it'll root into some sponge in the filter compartment. It'll cover it up quite nicely

@cheekychops - Looking good! Is the "mesh" in the 1st pic (top left) to stop stuff getting stuck in the filter? Just an opinion but you can get that rubberised non-slip in black which would blend better in your tank. :embarrest:

yea, never seen it that small in black other than shade cloth. that is mosquito mesh, i agree with you though, im hoping that it will decolor with age as algae grows on it. but the purpose of the mesh is to stop fry from getting in the filter, and i have to be carefull as the mesh can sometimes block the filter when larger debris get sucked onto the mesh casing the sump system to run dry and burn out my pump.

I stuffed the first compartment with blue sponge that I bought from an LFS.
I just had two loose slices on top of the big sponge, behind the holes, that could be removed and rinsed when needed.
    Made the maintenance really simple.

Doh! I didn't even think about the scale of that picture. The black rubber matting I have is definitely too big for fry. Sorry man.
