my first planted

    @blackdios. I use cal aqua labs black earth soil. My lights are 2x 14w cfl globes. And im using a ista 16g co2 set

    That looks very good. Balance perfect. Love the "tree" look with the moss. Love to see what it looks like when the Lilaeopsis grows in

    Thanks guys. I still want to add a background to hide the wires and hob filters and maybe add some proper co2 soon

    @Moolz.thanks. It is java moss. I used yarn to tie it to the tree. I want to get some more moss for the other branches. Will try and post a close up pic of the moss

    That co2 kit, the box says it has a mini regulator? If so couldn't you hook the end up to a ceramic diffuser?

    @Beans. No it's not realy a regulator. More just to open and close the to fill the defuser.

    @HeinrichvH. ah cool thanks, In the video explanation it looked like he could fill the defuser faster or slower which could mean it's a needle valve.

    @Beans.You can adjust how fast it flows, but don't think it's a regulator. Might work as a needle valve.
