I'm new to fishkeeping so this is my first proper tank. Its still very new so hopefully the plants will grow out with a bit of time. I have 4 angels, a pleco, a grourami, a ram, 5 platys and 2 female bettas. Anyway, here it is:

    Sorry lighting wasn't the best.

The plants should grow nicely especially with the natural light you are getting just watch out for algae with all that sunshine but it is looking good and must say lovely btta you have there ( blue )

If I may ask what size tank do u have

Nice betta indeed. Should look good once plants have grown a bit more.

Agreed on the warning re. light. I had a similar setup with a 3 footer on the kitchen counter with no backing. The idea was to enjoy the fish from all sides of the tank. I eventually gave up, moved the tank to the lounge against the wall and put a backdrop on. Even though not direct light, the extra light it got from the kitchen window had me scrubbing off algae every weekend.

Plant infront bottom-left (Anubias Barteri).....get it out of the substrate, it's going to die. Attach it to a piece of wood or rock

    Nice tank!

If you were not that far away I might have been tempted to go and make you sell that Turq Betta to me:blink1:

    Thanks for the comments ;)

So far I've had no serious algae problems, the tank only gets afternoon sun. I've added two otos and they are helping along with the pleco.

    Thanks solex have done ;)

    Johan its an 80l

The plants have grown out quite a bit now and I've added some new ones so I'll post updated pics soon.
